Safety footwear program update
Your safety shoe credit has moved from Zappos to Amazon Business
Starting now, you order safety footwear on Amazon Business, not Zappos. You still get $125 a year for shoes and $25 for insoles. There's also a footwear standard change coming on February 1, so this is the right time to use your credit.

What changed
Amazon has moved the safety footwear program from Zappos at Work to Amazon Business. The benefit stays the same, and ordering is easier:
| ✓ | $125 a year toward safety footwear, plus $25 toward insoles |
| ✓ | Any balance left on your Zappos voucher transfers over automatically. You don't have to do anything. |
| ✓ | Free shipping, free returns, order tracking, and self-service returns |
| ✓ | The 10% program discount is already built into the prices you see |
|
How to order
| 1 |
Go to mysp.us.workstore.amazon. Create a profile, or sign in with the account you already use on Amazon.com. Have your Amazon badge handy. You may be asked for your full name and your Amazon alias, the word printed at the top of your badge. |
|
|
| 2 |
Use the filters to find your footwear. With the February 1 change below, choose a work boot. |
| 3 |
Check out. Your credit is applied automatically. If you go over $125, you pay the difference by card, and tax applies only to that part. |
| 4 |
Screenshot your order confirmation. You'll use it on the Footwear Confirmation form. |
You can order once a year. Questions about the ordering site go to Amazon Business Customer Service at 1-877-424-9998 or mysp.us.workstore.amazon/help. For anything else, ask Dispatch.

Heads-up: footwear standard change
Starting February 1, 2027, work boots are required
High-top sneakers will no longer meet our standard. If you're ordering now, order boots and you'll be set.
Why: rolled ankles, slips on wet steps, and stubbed toes on curbs and porches are some of the most common ways Rabbits get hurt on route. A high-top sneaker covers the ankle, but its soft upper and athletic sole don't hold the ankle steady or grip on wet surfaces the way a work boot does.
This is the same standard I hold myself to when I run routes. I want every member of this Team going home the same way you came in, every day.
|
What counts as an approved boot
| ✓ | A work boot: a structured leather or synthetic upper built as footwear for work. Mesh or knit athletic shoes don't count. |
| ✓ | Covers both ankle bones (the inside and outside bumps), the same coverage our Standard Work already requires. |
| ✓ | Slip-resistant sole with an open tread pattern. |
| ✓ | Closed toe and closed heel. A safety (steel or composite) toe is allowed but not required. |
| ✗ | Not allowed after February 1: high-top sneakers, basketball or skate shoes, hiking "sneaker-boots" with a mesh upper, and anything that stops below the ankle bones. |
Not sure about a pair? Send Dispatch a photo or a link before you order and we'll tell you. If you've already used this year's credit, you can buy boots on your own; they count as long as they meet this checklist.

Confirm your boots by January 15, 2027
Every Rabbit submits the Footwear Confirmation form once, whether you ordered through Amazon Business, bought on your own, or already own a pair that qualifies. You'll need your badge number and a photo of your boots or your order confirmation. It takes about two minutes. Dispatch reviews each one, and you'll get an email when yours is approved.
You can also find it in the Rabbit Driver App under Forms & Info.
|
What happens on February 1
Approved boots become part of the uniform. As with the rest of the uniform, a Rabbit who arrives without compliant footwear will not be assigned a route that day. Nobody should lose a shift over this, and with three and a half months of notice and a $125 credit, nobody needs to.
|
|
Thank you for taking care of yourselves and each other. If anything here makes it hard for you to comply, talk to me or to Dispatch. We'll work it out.
