Delivery Success Behaviors (DSB)
DSB Fantastic is 233 DPMO or lower. Most misses come from wrong location or bad scans.
✓ Do
- Verify the address — the number on the building, not just the map.
- Check the label on every package at a group stop.
- Deliver to a secure spot hidden from the street; take a clear POD.
- Use the correct scan; if you can't deliver, run the full RTS process.
✗ Don't
- Bulk-swiping group stops for different homes.
- Delivering >50m from the geopin without contacting the customer.
- 'Delivered to household member' when no one took it.
- Leaving packages in lobbies, mailrooms, or a USPS mailbox.
Real example: At a 3-package group stop a DA swipes all three at once, but one was for a neighbor — a non-receipt and a DSB concession.
Pickup Success Behaviors (PSB)
PSB Fantastic is a defect rate under 10 per 100 stops.
✓ Do
- Visit Amazon Shipping pickups between 2:30 and 5:00pm local.
- Scan every package at the pickup stop.
- Stay within 500m of the pin when marking an exception.
- Pick the correct exception code; return picked-up packages the same day.
✗ Don't
- Doing an Amazon Shipping pickup before 2:30pm.
- Marking an exception far from the pin.
- Leaving a stop with no scan and no exception.
- Leaving picked-up packages in the van overnight.
Real example: A DA marks a pickup closed from the parking lot 200m away at 5:20pm — a time-window defect on PSB.
