Photos That Pass

A clear Photo on Delivery shows the customer where their package is and cuts 'never received' claims. Only usable photos count toward your POD Acceptance.

Why you're seeing this: your scorecard flagged Photo on Delivery. This module covers what makes a photo usable so your acceptance rate stays high.

Take a usable photo

POD Acceptance Fantastic is 98%+ (AMZL). Retaking a photo never counts against you, so review every shot.

✓ Do

  • Shoot in the final delivery spot: well-lit, steady, package centered, all edges visible.
  • Include the surroundings so the customer can find it.
  • Review each photo and retake if it's dark, blurry, or unclear.
  • For lockers or concealed spots, photograph the package before you close the door.

✗ Don't

  • Photos from inside the vehicle, the sidewalk, or in your hand.
  • Any person, body part, pet, face, or license plate in the frame.
  • Photos too close, too dark, or showing no package.
  • Placing or photographing a package in a USPS mailbox.
Real example: A DA snaps the package while still holding it by the van. It's rejected as package-in-hand and lowers POD Acceptance — redoing it at the doorstep would have counted.
